Time Management – December 2025 Release Notes

The Updates is aimed at improving Schedules, Reports and overall user experience.

Executive Summary

This release introduces a significantly improved scheduling and workforce management experience, driven by extensive client feedback and support insights.

Admins can now create and manage Full-Time and Rotational schedules faster and at scale using auto-generated Time Block Tags, eliminating manual start and end time entry during bulk uploads. Simply assign a tag (e.g. MS-N41) and the system automatically applies the correct shift configuration.

The Reports module has been enhanced to provide comprehensive workforce analytics with export capabilities across Attendance, Overtime, and Shift Management, enabling better payroll processing, compliance, and operational insights.

The Device Manager now supports multiple biometric devices per location, allowing organizations to configure separate entrance and exit devices within the same building, alongside improved device lifecycle management including device deletion.

Finally, the entire platform has been refreshed with an improved UI/UX, delivering clearer context, better information hierarchy, and more intuitive actions for Admins, Managers, and Employees.

1. Rotational Schedule Creation (End-to-End Wizard)

Admins can now create rotational schedules through a guided 5-step wizard:

  • Recurring schedules without fixed start/end dates

  • Configurable break times (billable or non-billable)

  • Penalty grace periods for lateness and absence

2. Time Block Tags (Bulk Shift Uploads Made Easy)

  • Auto-generated Time Block Tags act as shift identifiers

  • Admins can upload schedules for 2,000+ employees across 30+ days using a single file

  • No need to manually enter shift start and end times per employee

  • Reduces data entry errors and setup time significantly

3. Recurring Shift Plans

  • Create shift plans with defined start and end dates

  • Assign time blocks with flexible recurrence patterns (daily, weekly, monthly)

  • Bulk assign employees to recurring shifts

  • Automatically generates all shift instances across the selected period

4. Enhanced Reports & Analytics

A redesigned Reports module now provides:

  • Attendance, Overtime, and Shift Management reports

  • Advanced multi-dimensional filters (department, role, location, schedule type, pay group, etc.)

  • Drill-down views into individual employee records

  • Export functionality for payroll, audits, and compliance reporting

5. Device Manager Enhancements

Multi-Device Per Location

  • Configure multiple biometric devices for a single location

  • Supports separate clock-in (entry) and clock-out (exit) devices

Improved Device Lifecycle Management

  • View detailed device status, sync history, and time zones

  • Manually trigger device syncs by date range

  • Delete devices with no attached records

  • Better support for large buildings, hospitals, factories, and multi-entry locations

Fixes

Bulk Shift Assignment

Issue: Creating repetitive shifts for large teams was time-consuming and error-prone.
Fix: Introduced recurring time blocks and time block tags to automate bulk scheduling across extended periods.

Device Configuration Limitations

Issue: Organizations with multiple biometric devices per location lacked granular control.
Fix: Added multi-device per location support, device deletion, and enhanced sync management.

Reporting & Data Export Gaps

Issue: Limited aggregation and export options for workforce data.
Fix: Delivered a robust Reports module with advanced filtering and export across attendance, overtime, and shift management.
