Service Temporarily Unavailable on Loan Page After Mandate Setup
If you see "Service Temporarily Unavailable" immediately after completing your mandate setup, it does not usually mean your mandate registration failed. In most cases, the mandate was created successfully, but the loan service is temporarily unable to retrieve or update your loan eligibility information. This issue is typically caused by a temporary system timeout, an incomplete mandate synchronization, a banking partner response delay, or a temporary service disruption.
How to resolve this
1.Confirm that the mandate setup was completed successfully
If you were redirected back to the loan page after signing the mandate and received a confirmation from the mandate provider, the setup may already be successful.Check for:- Mandate confirmation message
- Successful redirection from the mandate page
If confirmation was received, proceed to the next step.
2.Refresh the loan page and log in again
Temporary session issues can prevent the portal from retrieving your updated mandate information.Try the following:- Log out of the Breeze app or Employee Benefits portal.
- Close the application completely.
- Wait 2 to 5 minutes.
- Log back in.
- Navigate back to Loans.
In many cases, the loan page loads normally after the session refresh.
3.Allow time for mandate synchronization
After a mandate is signed, several systems may need to exchange information before loan services become available. The mandate may still be:- Processing
- Awaiting verification
- Updating internally
- Waiting for confirmation from a banking partner
If the mandate was completed recently, allow additional time for synchronization before attempting another loan application.
4.Check your internet connection
A weak or unstable internet connection can interrupt communication between the loan service and mandate verification service.Confirm that:- You have a stable internet connection.
- Mobile data or Wi-Fi is working properly.
- Other areas of the application are loading successfully.
If connectivity is poor, switch networks and try again.
5.Do not create multiple mandates
If you have already completed the mandate setup process successfully, do not repeatedly create new mandates.Multiple mandate attempts may:- Cause duplicate verification records.
- Trigger additional validation checks.
- Delay loan processing unnecessarily.
Always verify the status of the existing mandate before initiating another setup attempt.

Eligibility checks continue after mandate setup
Successfully creating a mandate does not automatically mean a loan has been approved. The platform may still need to validate:
- Employment eligibility
- Repayment capacity
- Salary history
- Existing loan obligations
- Product-specific requirements
Employee Benefits products have different eligibility criteria depending on the loan type selected.
