HRIS RELEASE NOTE (JULY 2025)
There are new updates and feature improvement on the HRIS module. This is to ensure more streamlined experiences for our clients. Please see the updates made below
1. Contract end date on the bulk upload template.We have added the Contract end date on the bulk upload template; this was done so that admins can add contract end date for contract that expire in bulk.

P.S This is not available on the Bulk Edit Page
2. Annual Gross Validation:
We have added a validation on employee's annual gross, if the annual gross added by admin does fall between the maximum and minimum range defined on Payroll, an error message would be displayed to the admin.

3. Phone Number Verification:
Phone number verification is for employees to verify their phone numbers on the system when they log in to their ESS. The employees will receive an OTP on their phone number on HRIS when they click on "Verify" on the phone number field for the verification process. The essence of this initiative is to improve security on HRIS.


4. Account Verification:
Account verification is for admins to get email notification on unverified account numbers on their system i.e. account numbers that do not match account name on the system. They receive an attachment indicating these Staff ID and email of the employees.
The employees also need to verify their account number

5. Notification improvement:
Birthdays, anniversaries and announcement notification improvement. We also now have a feature that sends Birthday and Anniversary notifications to the Celebrants.

IMPROVEMENT FOR KENYAN CLIENTS;
1. We add statutory fields for house and car benefits for Kenya clients: these statutory field will show if the location is set to Kenya. This fields are under Employees Profile page (Bank Details Tab).

2. Primary and Secondary Employment type for Kenya Clients:
We have also added Primary and Secondary Employment type for Kenya client. This field is under Employment History tab (Basic Information).
