How to take performance review as an employee on the new ESS
A performance review is an evaluation process that allows employees and managers to assess work performance, achievements, strengths, and areas for improvement within a specific review period. The performance review feature helps employees provide self-assessments, receive feedback, and track overall performance progress. Employees can complete their performance reviews directly from the Employee Self-Service platform (ESS) following these steps:
- On your Self-Service (ESS) page, click on "Work".
- Navigate to "Performance".
- Select Performance Review.

- You'll be redirected to the Performance Review page. Ensure you're on the right appraisal period; once confirmed, click on 'Set Objective'.

- Toggle between BSC or OKR, depending on what is applicable in your company and select 'Create Objective' again.

- Enter your Objective title and description (select a reviewer if your appraisal review ought to be done by someone other than your Line Manager), then click Next. Select

- Input the key result title, description, start date, end date, measure, start value, target value and weight under that objective and click on 'Add another key result' if there are more key results to be added under the same objective. Then click on 'Create OKR' to complete the process.
