FAQs on LMS

1. Can I create and upload content on LMS as a User?

Answer: As a manager or admin, you can create and upload specific courses related to the local content you are interested in.

 

2. Are awards the only thing given at the end of a module/course? Are there certificates given?

Answer: Yes, your admin can set up awards and certificates that can be issued to you once you complete a course.
 

3. If a staff has personally taken a course can a line manager still assign that module to the staff?

Answer: No, the line manager will be unable to assign as they will be notified that the course has already been assigned to the staff

 

4. If a line manager puts a timeline on a course, what happens if the course is not completed within the specified timeline?

Answer: You will still be able to take the course, however, the admin/ manager can see all overdue learners.

 

5. Can the timeline be extended?

Answer: Yes, an admin can extend course timelines

 

6. Can we administer test(s) on the platform after a course has been completed (if the course doesn’t come with test questions)?

Answer: Tests cannot be administered to pre-existing go1 courses that you have assigned to learners. However, you can administer tests/assessments for the courses that you upload(ed).

 

7. Can an employee not belonging to my organization have access to content uploaded by my organization?

Answer: Employees who do not belong to your organization would not have access to the learning resources/courses you have created on your platform; except it is a public course that has been vetted & approved for external use after submission to GO1.
 
8. Can employees assign courses to themselves?
Answer: As a manager or admin, you can assign courses to yourself, otherwise, you can enroll for a course.
 
9. Why can't I access my learning on LMS?
Answer: Kindly confirm from your admin/ manager if you have been enrolled on LMS
 
10. Why is an employee unable to submit a test?
Answer: 
  • Check that the employee has not previously taken and submitted the test
  • Check that the employee has not exhausted all set attempts to take the test
