HRIS RELEASE NOTE APRIL 2025
This article covers the latest release for April 2025 , highlighting feature improvements and new features
1.Medical Aid - Helps to streamline the processes of setting up basic health insurance plans with premium structures, Configure employer-employee cost sharing, Manage employee enrollments, and appropriate employee deductions during payroll processing.
Admin can create Health Benefits plans from the Health Benefit page on Company Settings
2. How to create a plan - When create a plan is clicked on, a modal is shown where admins can input all the required information before proceeding.
i. The plan name is the name of the plan that is created.
ii. The cost is the amount that is attached to the plan being created to be split between employees and employer.
iii. Deduction is the amount to be deduct from the employee, PS the deduction must have been created on payroll as Special deductions for it to show on HRIS
iv. Coverage type indicates the category that employees will fall under; the coverage types are already created on system; admins cannot create new ones.

3. Existing Plans include an Action tab that allows admins to view, edit, or delete plans. Please note that the deletion of a plan is irreversible, so exercise caution when selecting this option.

4. Search and Filter functionality : This enable admins to search and filter existing plans by date created and coverage type
5.The header for Medical Aid has been included to the template for the bulk Upload and Edit incase of bulk upload, that is the only way at this time for admin to add medical Aid details to employee's contracts.
The option to add a single employee will be included in the future.
