How to bulk edit or bulk update employee information
Follow the steps below on how to edit existing employee information.
Bulk editing employee information is categorized into two.
1. Downloading the template
2. Bulk uploading the populated template.
SECTION A: How to download bulk edit template.
1. Launch the HRIS module
2. Click on Add bulk employee (New) by the left pane.
3. Click on update employee information
4. Select generate edit template.
N.B: Ensure that the employees are selected before clicking on generate edit template
5. There are several fields regarding employee profiles and contracts. You will be required to choose the fields you want to make changes to. The spooled template will reflect the employee code and other fields selected.
6. Click on generate and download to spool the template.
SECTION B: Bulk uploading the populated template.
1. Click on the bulk edit button.
2. Choose the populated template and click on validate csv file to validate the document.
3. A notification drops with the message that the validation is successful. Click on the notification to view.
5. The notification takes you to the final stage to upload the document. Click on the proceed button to complete the process.
