  1. Why do I need the Approval Request Manager/How does the Approval Request Manager work?
    Answer: The Approval Manager manages all approvals that are sent to approving officers.
    Rather than run through email notifications or in-app notifications to complete approvals, approving officers can use the feature to complete approval processes and view pending approvals or approval requests. Essentially, approval manager would pick approval setup that is completed on the Approval Workflow module.

  2. Is the Approval request Manager visible to all employees?
    Answer: It is only available to an employee, reporting line, or admin role that has been assigned as an approving officer on an approval workflow.

  3. Will approvers be able to see previous pending approvals before deployment of this feature?
    Answer: Yes, the approval manager is retroactive. Once you filter by date, it shows the pending approvals from previous dates.

  4. Can all approvers now view and approve all pending approvals via the approval request manager?
    Answer: Yes, all requests are available on that page.

  5. Does the Approval manager also capture appraisal workflows?
    Answer: While objective requests can reflect on the approval manager, the Appraisal workflow is not there because appraisal workflow is embedded in performance module..
  6. Can I view approvals form the payroll module on my Approval Manager?
    Answer: No. The payroll module is excluded. This is because the payroll module is separate and has its own approval workflow.
