      Capturing your 13th Month & Other Bonuses on your SeamlessPayroll

      The following are simple tips to guide you based on how you choose to pay your employees 13th Month & Other Bonuses on your SeamlessPayroll

      1. Bonuses and other allowances are paid with monthly salaries This option is for those who would like to pay their bonuses and 13th month together with their monthly salary.

      Ensure that all bonus allowances have been captured in your pay grades & and pay-groups.

      Proceed to run your payroll and preview your breakdown before making payment

      2. Bonuses are the same for paygrade & pay-groups but paid separately from the monthly payroll

      This option is for those who would like to split payment of their monthly salaries from the bonuses. You will be required to choose a monthly run period depending on how many payouts you choose to half (twice or thrice). Please follow the steps below.

      • First, you will be required to change your run frequency on the system. Follow our guide on how to change run frequency here
      • Secondly, kindly place the 13th-month allowance in the appropriate batch for payment. 
      • Run payroll for the setup batches to confirm your figures before disbursing payment to your employees.

      Please note, that this is best ideal if you've configured your 13th month and other allowances as part of your pay grade elements. 

      3. Bonuses are not the same for paygrade & pay-groups but are paid separately from the monthly payroll

      This option is ideal if you're paying different amounts as 13th months/bonuses for your employees regardless of their pay grade/level.

      • Start by changing your run frequency to the desired frequency with this HELP
      • Add the 13th month as a fixed amount to all pay grades with a value of Zero. You can use the bulk upload template to do this. Here is a guide.
      • Thirdly, you will be required to add the specific amount for each employee as a special allowance under Auto update. here is a guide on how to use the bulk upload feature of the  Special Allowance.
