RELEASE NOTE ON PENSION IMPROVEMENT DISBURSEMENT....FEBRUARY 2026

This release introduces significant improvements to the pension disbursement workflow, addressing long‑standing issues where a single employee’s invalid pension details could block disbursement for all employees. Admins now have more control, visibility, and flexibility during disbursement. The update includes real-time error detection, an enhanced admin interface for corrections, email notifications, and a new ability to exclude employees from the pension batch to ensure seamless processing.

What’s New

1. Enhanced Admin Rectification Interface

Admins now have a dedicated interface that allows them to:
  • View employees within a PFA with invalid pension details
  • Edit and correct invalid RSA numbers
  • Save changes and retry disbursement instantly.
This eliminates delays caused by backend dependencies.

2. Exclude Employees from Pension Disbursement

To give admins better control over batch processing, the interface now supports:
  • Exclude Employees: Remove employees with invalid or pending details from the current disbursement cycle if admin does have access to the validate details and wants to continue with disbursement.
  • Include Employees: Admins can re-include employees that were mistakenly excluded on the disbursement page. Please not that you can't include employee that was not in the initial trigger for disbursement
This feature ensures smoother processing and reduces unnecessary batch failures.

Excluded employees and employee rectifications do not require re‑approval. This means that when admins update an employee’s RSA PIN or exclude an employee, the system will automatically retry the pension disbursement for all employees without going through the approval process again.
 
 

3. Automated Notifications

Admins will now receive email alerts when a pension fails. These notifications will continue to be sent weekly until the next payroll run is completed.
  • Invalid or inconsistent employee pension details are detected.
  • Pension disbursement is pending due to unresolved issues.

4. Other Improvements

The payroll dashboard now features an updated side menu with a refreshed visual style. While the overall content structure remains unchanged, the color scheme and interface styling have been enhanced to provide a cleaner, more modern look. This update represents the first step in a series of broader UI/UX improvements planned for the coming quarters, as we continue to refine and elevate the payroll experience.
