HRIS Release Note June 2026: Consolidated Birthday & Work Anniversary Email

This article explains the new, streamlined way to receive both birthday and work anniversary emails.

Previously, employees received separate email notifications for colleagues' birthdays and work anniversaries. As we scaled to tens of thousands of employees across client organizations, it became important for us to make these notifications streamlined.

To address this, we've merged birthday and work anniversary notifications into a single email. This change cuts the volume of these emails in half, reducing the number of notifications employees receive each day.


Why This Matters

  • Lower email volume — halves the number of these notifications sent daily across all client organizations
  • Better employee experience — less inbox clutter and notification fatigue for employees
  • Cost efficiency — reduces email-sending costs at our current scale
