Redeployment Enhancement Features Release Note

When an admin processes a redeployment on HRIS, they are required to provide a reason for the action. Previously, this was a free-text field with no structure. Admins could enter any text they chose, making it difficult to maintain consistent records or report on redeployment trends across the organization.We've replaced this with a standardized dropdown list of redeployment reasons.

Admins now select from a predefined set of options, bringing consistency and clarity to how redeployment reasons are captured across all client organizations. For cases that don't fit any predefined option, selecting Others reveals a multi-line free-text input where admins can enter a custom reason.The available options are: Change of Department, Job Rotation, Organizational Restructuring, Personal / Compassionate, Promotion, Redesignation, Relocation, Secondment, Transfer, and Others.Why this matters:

• Standardized data — redeployment reasons are now consistent across all admins and organizations, making records cleaner and more reportable
• Faster to complete — selecting from a dropdown is quicker than typing a reason from scratch every time
• Flexibility retained — the Others option with a free-text input ensures admins are never forced into an option that doesn't accurately reflect the situation
• Better insights — with structured reasons, organizations can more easily track and analyze redeployment patterns over time
