Leave Module Release Notes – Nudge Approver Version 1.1(B) | December 2025

This release introduces a Nudge Approver feature that allows employees to send reminders to their approvers directly from the system when leave requests are pending. This enhancement improves communication between employees and approvers, reduces delays in leave approvals, and eliminates the need for employees to send repeated manual reminders outside the platform.

How It Works:
  • Navigate to your pending leave request in ESS
  • Click on the "Actions" dropdown
  • Select "Nudge Approver"
  • The system sends an email and in-app notification to the current pending approver
  • You can nudge once per day for each pending request
  • The nudge option is only available after the request submission date (not on the same day you apply)
