# How to take Appraisal as an Employee on the new ESS

## The Performance module on ESS helps employees participate in the appraisal process by reviewing their assigned goals, competencies, and evaluation forms. It provides a structured way to complete appraisals, monitor progress, and ensure transparency throughout the performance review cycle.This guide will walk you through the steps to successfully take your appraisal on ESS

 

1\. Log in to your ESSLog in to your Employee Self-Service (ESS) account using your registered email address and password

2\. Navigate to the Work FeatureOnce logged in, navigate to the Work feature on the dashboard and click on the drop-down menu to view the available options.

3.  Select Performance from the dropdown.

4\. Click “Take an Appraisal” from the drop-down options. This option allows you to access your assigned appraisal form and begin the evaluation process.

5\. Access the performance interface After selecting Take an Appraisal, you will be redirected to the Performance Interface.
