[Admin](https://support.seamlesshr.com/seamlesstime?hsLang=en#admin) # How to Export Attendance IDs from Device Manager ## To export attendance IDs,  go to Time Management \> Configuration \> Device Manager \> Employee IDs, then click Export Attendance ID. The exported file is sent to your registered email address and is also available in the Notifications section. ### **What is an attendance ID?** An attendance ID is the unique identifier that links an employee’s record to their clock-in and clock-out data on an attendance device. Exporting these IDs gives you a complete list you can use to audit device enrollment,or reconcile attendance records. ### **Steps to export attendance IDs** 1. **Open the Time Management module.** From the main menu, launch **Time Management**. 2. **Go to Configuration.** Click **Configuration** to open the module settings. ![](https://support.seamlesshr.com/hs-fs/hubfs/undefined-Nov-06-2026-11-24-14-8438-AM.jpeg?width=670&height=385&name=undefined-Nov-06-2026-11-24-14-8438-AM.jpeg) 3. **Select Device Manager.** Choose **Device Manager** from the configuration options. ![](https://support.seamlesshr.com/hs-fs/hubfs/undefined-Nov-06-2026-11-24-38-4120-AM.jpeg?width=670&height=386&name=undefined-Nov-06-2026-11-24-38-4120-AM.jpeg) 4. **Open the Employee IDs tab:**  Navigate to **Employee IDs** to view the attendance IDs assigned to employees. 5. **Export the IDs :** Click **Export Attendance ID** to start the export. ![](https://support.seamlesshr.com/hs-fs/hubfs/undefined-Nov-06-2026-11-25-18-1006-AM.jpeg?width=670&height=387&name=undefined-Nov-06-2026-11-25-18-1006-AM.jpeg) ### **Where to find your exported file** Once the export finishes, you can get the file in either of two places: - **Email:** The file is sent to the email address registered on your profile - **Notifications:** Click the notification bell to download it directly. - File format : Excel and the columns included are Staff ID ,Attendance ID and employee name ### **Troubleshooting** 1. **I didn’t receive the email:**  Check your spam or junk folder, then confirm your registered email address in your profile settings. You can also download the file from **Notifications** instead. 2. **The export is taking a long time :** Large employee lists can take longer to process. Check **Notifications** after a few minutes and also refresh the page ### **Frequently asked questions** 1. **Where is the Export Attendance ID option in TimeManagement** It’s under Time Management \> Configuration \> Device Manager \> Employee IDs. 2. **How is the attendance ID export delivered?** It’s emailed to your registered address and also made available in the Notifications section. 3. **Who can export attendance IDs?** Users with access to Time Management configuration settings 4. **Can I export attendance IDs for only some employees?** Yes, you can filter by Department , by employee name etc -
