[Employee Self Service (ESS)](https://support.seamlesshr.com/exit-management?hsLang=en#employee-self-service-ess) # HOW TO APPLY FOR EXIT AS AN EMPLOYEE ## The Exit Application feature helps ensure that resignations and other exit forms are properly documented, routed for approval, and managed efficiently in line with the company’s exit process.  Employees can submit their intended exit details and track the progress of their request directly from the self-service (ESS) platform by following the steps outlined below :  1. From your ESS dashboard, navigate to 'More' among the features on the left hand panel. 2. Select 'Exit Management'. 3. Select the appropriate exit mode to proceed with your application. The screenshot below shows just 'Voluntary Resignation', however, your admin might have other exit policies configured (such as End of Contract, Retirement, etc.) which you'll find on this page; ensure you select the one relevant to your exit. ![](https://support.seamlesshr.com/hs-fs/hubfs/undefined-May-29-2026-03-52-35-6895-AM.png?width=670&height=342&name=undefined-May-29-2026-03-52-35-6895-AM.png) 6. Select your last working day, input your reasons for exiting (you can select as many as possible from the dropdown), input an additional comment if necessary, and lastly attach your resignation letter, taking into account the acceptable file and file size limit. You may alternatively type in your resignation letter.
