# How to Activate Employee Benefits for your organization without Payroll disbursement

## The steps below outline the requirements for activating employee benefits if you do not pay salary on the system, with a video guide providing a complete walkthrough of the entire process.

**1. Onboarding:** Once you express interest in activation, the dedicated team will share an onboarding agreement for you to sign. Signing this agreement is mandatory before activation can proceed.

**2. Activation:** Once your organization is activated, a dedicated repayment wallet is created for you. You can find the wallet’s account details under the Breeze Loans payslip at the "Submit for Payment" stage.

**3. Run payroll as usual :** For employees with an active loan, the repayment appears as a separate deduction in the payroll update section of your payroll run. It is clearly distinguished from regular deductions (name: Breeze Loan Repayment) as an Extra Deduction and cannot be edited or deleted.

**4. Continue your process :** After successfully completing the payroll run, proceed to pay salaries using your existing payment process.

**In addition:**

- The **"Yes I have Paid"** button confirms that salaries have been disbursed through your usual payment process; it does not serve as proof of payment. This confirmation is used to assess employees’ eligibility for their next loan.
- **Repayment Validation and Loan Status Update:** When payment is received and validated, loans are recorded and updated accordingly.

> Note: If you start disbursing salaries through the Payroll module, the loan schedule and bulk repayment option will be deactivated. Loan repayments will instead be deducted during salary disbursement, following the standard deduction and repayment process.
