# How does employee loans work on breezepayer and how can we access it?

Please log in to your ESS and access loans in the Employee Benefits section on your ESS dashboard.See available employee benefits options below:

- Earned Salary - This gives you access to your earned salary so far within the money.
- Salary Advance - This enables you take a loan within your monthly salary amount.
- Flexi Loans - This option allows you take a short-term loan with repayment between 2 - 5months.
- Maxi Loans - This option allows you to take a loan with repayment period between 6 - 12 months.

 Please note that your loan eligibility for the respective loan types is dependent on your current Credit Data Score obtained directly from the Credit bureau. This is also dependent on other existing loans you may have with other financial institutions or lenders.Follow the steps below to apply:

- Once you click Apply on any of the loan types, please proceed to create a mandate.
- Verify OTP on the mandate creation.
- Once the OTP is verified and mandate created, go back to the Breeze page to continue your loan application.
- Toggle the box to agree to share information for credit check assessment, then click Continue.
- Your loan breakdown will be displayed on the right pane, please click apply to proceed with your application.
- An OTP verification will also be required, then disbursement will be processed.

 Likely errors:

- Ineligibility error - This indicates that you are currently ineligible for the loan type due to your debt-to-income ratio.
- insufficient time in company - This indicates that your time in company is currently lower than 3months for Flexi loans and 4months for Maxi Loans.
