How Do I Update Beneficiary Details on Breezepayer?

This article explains how beneficiary details can be updated on Breeze Payer

Beneficiary details are used when making payments such as airtime purchases, transfers, or other financial transactions on Breeze. If your beneficiary information is incorrect or outdated, you can update or create a new beneficiary before completing a transaction.

Common causes includes:

  1. Incorrect account or phone number saved on a beneficiary profile.
  2. Users attempting to edit a beneficiary that no longer exists.
  3. Changes to a recipient's bank account or phone number.
  4. Users selecting an old, saved beneficiary during a transaction.

How to resolve this

  1. Log in to the Breeze app.
  2. Navigate to the product where the beneficiary is being used (for example, Airtime, Data, or Transfers).
  3. Open the Beneficiaries section to view your saved recipients.
  4. Select the beneficiary you want to update.
  5. Edit the required information such as:
    • Beneficiary name
    • Phone number
    • Bank account number
