How do I set up a Direct Debit Mandate during my loan application?

To set up a Direct Debit Mandate when applying for a loan, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the Benefits section on your ESS page.
2. Select the loan type you want to apply for.
3. Click Take It.
4. Ensure that your BVN, address, country, next of kin and any other required information have been completed for verification.
5. Click Continue.
6. Select your preferred loan tenure based on the loan type selected.
7. On the next page, proceed to Set Up Direct Debit Mandate.
8. Click on the Direct Debit Mandate option. You will be redirected to authorise the mandate through our mandate setup partner, Mono.
9. Select Continue to complete the authorization process.

Important: A one-time fee of ₦50 will be deducted from your account as part of the Direct Debit Mandate authorisation process.

Note: Mono currently supports and approves mandates only for traditional bank accounts.
