[Financial Products](https://support.seamlesshr.com/release-notes?hsLang=en#financial-products) # Employee benefits access for Non-Disbursing Companies via Payslip Data (Loan Schedule) v1.0 ## Employees of companies that run payroll on SeamlessTech can now access Financial Products even when their employer pays salaries outside SeamlessTech. Their net salary on the SeamlessHR pay slip is now used as a proxy for salary disbursement. This release is for companies that use SeamlessTech's Payroll but do not disburse salaries through the Payroll module. Loan repayments are collected through payroll deductions, and the employer pays them in one bulk transfer into a dedicated repayment wallet. What's new - **Net salary as a disbursement proxy:** Financial Products reads net salary from Payroll to assess eligibility. Existing eligibility rules, loan pricing and limits are unchanged. - **Locked loan repayment deductions:** Active repayment schedules from Financial Products appear in the payroll run as **Extra deductions** that admins cannot edit or delete. - **Dedicated repayment wallet:** Each employer gets a dedicated repayment account for bulk loan repayments. - **Payment Confirmation:** Admins confirm that salaries have been paid externally by clicking the "Yes I have paid" button. ### **Feature Details:** ### How it works for employers **1. Onboarding:** When anemployer/company indicates interest in this activation, the Customer Facing Teams (CS, TAO, Sales) shares the onboarding agreement with the client for execution. **2. Activation:** Interested employers are activated, and a repayment wallet is created. Run payroll as usual.** For employees with an active loan, the repayment appears as a separate deduction in the payroll update section of your payroll run. Pay salaries outside SeamlessHR.** Salary payment continues through your existing process. **5. Click "I have Paid".** This confirms that the loan repayments have been paid. Click "Yes I have Paid" to confirm that salaries have been paid externally. Once confirmed, the payroll run can no longer be deleted. It does not automatically mark loans as collected, so loan status may still be on "active" until payment is validated. - **Repayment Validation and Loan Status Update:** When payment is received and validated, loans are recorded are updated accordingly. ### **Employee experience** Employees whose employers pay salaries outside the Payroll module can apply for employee benefits if their salary data in Payroll meets the existing eligibility criteria.
